CHEM-LABS was founded in 1995 as a limited liability Company with the aim of procuring and distributing quality laboratory diagnostic products to Clinical laboratories, Universities and Research Institutions in the regional market at competitive and affordable prices. The company is located in the Central business area of Nairobi on Ngara Road, Human House.

To ensure quality customer service and continued technical support, all our sale executives are trained laboratory technologists while the service engineers have a bias in Medical engineering.
CHEM-LABS has ensured an efficient delivery system of products to customers by investing in a number of delivery vehicles and motor cycles. The latter are equipped with a cool box for handling the sensitive refrigerated products.
The company also employs the services of two of the major local courier companies for delivery of urgent supplies to customers outside the city of Nairobi.
The company has a client portfolio of over 300 institutions, who are made up of Private and Public hospitals, Private Medical Laboratories, Research institutions, Universities and other institutions of higher learning.
CHEM-LABS is also the main Sponsor of the Human Quality Assessment Scheme (HuQAS) offering exclusively both financial and technical support. This is an external Quality Assessment available to both public and private medical diagnostic laboratories. It was launched in the year 2000 with an aim of providing Proficiency Testing in Laboratory diagnostic works. There are currently 75 diagnostic laboratories registered with the scheme.
